I was extremely impressed with Nick at Penny Lane decks. I moved into my house last year and it had a beautiful deck that was only about five years old. Unfortunately, the only design flaw was that the boards were not spaced properly and water was being directed to my brick wall. This eventually led to water getting into my basement. Nick came out and did a thorough inspection and discussed all of my options. He was up-front about all the costs and suggested cost savings. His quote was very reasonable and detailed. He was extremely responsive and answered all of my questions. He ended up reboarding the problem section of my deck and installing flashing to further protect my brick wall from water penetration. He did a beautiful job and we were extremely impressed with his work. He was on time and completed the job exactly to the quote. There were no surprise costs of complications. I will for sure use Nick again if I ever need any deck repairs done.

Other contractors didn't want to even look at project, whereas Nick was willing to bid, and do the project. He followed up with text and kept in contact as he needed to. We would use him again for other projects.
